* This is not associated with the BMS company in any way. There was no way to use a USB cable connected to a phone/tablet with the JB4, so I made this application. This will let you connect an Android phone or table using a USB to Serial cable right into the JB4, rather than having to buy an expensive bluetooth module. A 5v TTL serial cable must be used for the JB4 side - BMS sell them or you can buy or build a custom made one, then a suitable OTG cable for your Android device.
PL-2303HX (MUCH cheaper) or TTL-232R-5V-WE should work if you are making your own USB to serial cable.
