Hole 16, a par 5 playing to a peninsular green jutting into Ford Lake, has been regarded as Eagle Crest's signature hole since the course was first opened in 1989 and was named one of the 18 toughest public golf course holes in Michigan by the viewers and listeners of Michigan Golf Live, a TV and radio program that spotlights great golf experiences around the state of Michigan.
